Little Watsons
The Watson’s are my next door neighbors and I have been photographing them for 7 years. It’s so cute since the youngest Watson’s are now getting older and you can get them to laugh on command for their photos. They seem to find the oddest of things amusing, which really works in our favor
Finke Family Christmas
This is the second time I have photographed the Finke family and just had a blast. The last time we photographed them in studio, but this time we went outside for some great Christmas winter shots. We went down to Rope Mill – my new favorite spot for outdoor shoot. There is so much versatility there that you can get really creative every time.
We’re baaack …
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. After an incredible family vacation, we are now a the grindstone and behind the camera. Here’s looking forward to an incredible 2012 filled with smiles and amazing moments to be captured.
Almost Christmas time
After working very hard in the run up to Christmas and getting everyone’s family photos and cards done, I am now officially on vacation for the rest of the year. My computer is unplugged and my camera is safely tucked away.
I hope you all have a very merry Christmas, a happy Hanukka, and enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate at this time of year. I also wish you a good and safe new year and here’s looking forward to seeing you soon in 2012.
Sarah & Family
Joyous Joiner Family
The Joiner family have not had their family photo taken since their son was a baby, so this was a long awaited shoot. It was quite chilly, but everyone did great and we got to have some fun playing around and trying to keep warm at the same time.
Bonnie’s adorable new bundle
Just recently I went over to Bonnie’s house to photograph her adorable new addition to her amazing family. They welcomed a precious baby girl at home and everyone is doing wonderfully. I got to photograph their new family member when she was just a few days old which is my favorite time to photograph new babies. They do normally sleep the whole way through, but this little girl wasn’t going to miss a moment of her big debut.
Flashing with the Hawks
Today was our last Flashes of Hope for the year. We were very pleased to welcome the Hawks mascot, Harry, to the shoot and the kids were thrilled to bits. We all got a chance to have our photo taken with him (which is still on my camera and will be downloaded later). I get to meet all sorts of celebrities doing this
The Khan family
I met the Khan’s after they won the silent auction item I had donated to RBM to raise money for Children’s Health Care of Atlanta. We went to a memorial park in Roswell and, even though we were fighting the light, we had a great shoot. The kids were both fabulous and full of fun.
Christmas cards all over the place
Today I seem to be knee deep in Christmas cards which I’m loving. For the first time I am designing a Christmas card / birth announcement and we do have both sides to work with, so that helps. I’m having a designing blast, so back I go to the keyboard.
Hope you’re all having a wonderful and creative day too.
Non sleepy little baby
I had a blast this morning at Bonnie’s house photographing her gorgeous little babies. Firstly, I got to meet little baby Amera who was born on Saturday, and then her other two always make me feel so welcome when I see them. They were so sweet wanting to show me everything because it was the first time I had photographed at their house. Poor little Amera did not want to sleep so we weren’t able to pose her as we wanted to because she was being so strong, but we did get some adorable shots of her and I can’t wait to show them to Bonnie.
